LONGWOOD, Fla., March 27, 2008 -- Tired of dealing with a daily overdose of spam? And looking for a way to avoid paying pricey licensing fees for software programs just to bring junk e-mail to an end?

For local governments and companies large and small, it's now officially possible to stop spam forever -- and save money while doing it simply by solving a riddle. Now through March 12, LogSat's website will feature a brainteaser twice a day on its forum. The first user who correctly guesses the riddle wins a FREE Spam Filter Enterprise license -- a retail value of $1,200.

"We thought this online riddle contest and giveaway would be a great way to have companies 'work' a little to earn their free licenses," says Roberto Franceschetti, owner of LogSat Software. "This allows the IT folks in a company to do something fun and justify it as work. In the end, it saves them over $1,000, but considering that we're one of the few anti-spam software companies in the marketplace that sells its licenses for a fixed price -- instead of based on the number of users within a company -- this is really a much more significant savings than just $1,200. It's a huge cost-cutter."

The free license will include 12 months of software maintenance. Licensing terms are exactly the same as if the license had been purchased, and thus allow the installation on a single server, supporting an unlimited number of users, unlimited domains and unlimited e-mails. After the first year, renewing the optional software maintenance will be the same cost as the retail version (currently only $240 per year).

For its online giveaway, LogSat will allow one free license per company or person. The order of the replies in the "riddle thread" will determine the first user who has the correct answer.

The winner will be contacted via either e-mail or the forum. LogSat will not accept "anonymous" or "generic" e-mail addresses like @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, @aol.com etc. A valid e-mail address belonging to your company or business, or a personal domain name registered in your name, is required.

The giveaway, runs until the end of March.
